One of the three key foundations of our vision is to be recognised as a disability service of choice. What does this mean?
It means that DSA is a respected and valued provider of services across a broad spectrum of age groups, geographical areas and disability types. It means that people with a disability are able to turn to us with any question in relation to disability and we will have the answer.
We seek to enhance each individual's quality of life by addressing 8 key areas, each of which relates to one or more of the Disability Services Standards:
- Social inclusion
- Personal development
- Rights
- Material well-being
- Self-determination
- Interpersonal relations
- Emotional well-being
- Physical well-being
