Mark Spurr - Chief Executive Officer
Mark joined Disability Services Australia in May 2010. Prior to joining DSA he worked at The Smith Family and previously held senior management roles with major international companies operating in industrial products, food manufacture and agricultural commodities.
With a background in accounting, finance and operations, Mark has over twenty years of general management experience with companies including Davis Consolidated Industries, Goodman Fielder and Meat and Livestock Australia. Mark has extensive international experience having worked in Brazil, USA and Mexico.
His qualifications include Bachelor Business Studies, Fellow Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow Institute of Corporate Managers, Secretaries and Administrators and Associate Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.
Scott Holz - Director, Business And Vocational Services
Commencing with DSA as the manager of 121 Services in 1994 Scott was appointed as Director, Vocational Services in January 2002. Scott has 23 years experience in the disability employment sector. He is Chairman of NSW Open Employment Sub Committee and a member of the NDS National Committee on Open Employment.
Catherine Dickson - Director, Community Support Services & Business Improvement
Catherine Dickson joined DSA as Manager, Disability Support Services in 1994, Catherine has 21 years experience in the sector at senior management level and tertiary qualifications in both Community Welfare and Human Resources Management. Catherine is the current Chair for the NDS NSW Accommodation Sub Committee, a NSW State representative for the National NDS Accommodation Committee. Catherine has been a NDS & DSA Service Provider Representative several Stakeholders Reference Groups over the past year.
Frank Levin - Director, Finance Administration and IT
Frank joined DSA as Director Finance Administration and IT in February 2009. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to joining DSA, Frank worked in senior positions in the construction, shopping centre, banking, building materials, security, scaffolding and FMCG industries, working for companies such as Lend Lease, Westfield, Westpac and Waco Kwikform.
Theresa Smith - Director, Human Resources
Theresa joined DSA as Human Resources Manager in October 2002, and was appointed to Director, Human Resources in July 2006. Prior to joining DSA, Theresa worked in a variety of senior Human Resource management roles in Alcatel Australia Ltd, Toyota Motor Corporation Australia, Wella Australia, SC Johnson and in the Corporate Offices of Grace Bros. She holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resources, a Graduate Certificate in Professional and Applied Ethics and a Masters in Ethics and Legal Studies.
